Anyone still here?
Anyone still here? I have posted this to begin a new thread on behalf of Minervaminx
Kind regards

Was diagnosed just before Christmas with infraclavicular nodes and awaiting details of a CT scan before deciding what treatment to have.
Anyone else in my situation?
Oh, incidentally, primary diagnosed in Sept 05, finished treatment in June 06 including radio and chemo so it is a shock it is back. First time around it was er+ but this cancer has mutated…

Hi Minervaminx,
I have er+ve diagnosed first in 2003 and then in 200 had a small lump on collar bone, which was diagnosed via scans and biopsy as Supra clavicular secondaries, still er+ve. This meant I changed from tamoxifen to femara. It took some time to respond to treatment which meant my chest looked like a cobbled path for a while and have had lots of pain issues with brachial plexus involvement. However most lumps are now flat and barely visible although I must say it does tend to wax and wane!
My understanding was that chemo would have worked quicker but no real evidence of better quality of life whereas the femara is allegedly gentler on the body.
good luck with your treatment choices.

Hi ladies.
I have to ask because of my own concern. With infraclavicular nodes etc… does it feel like you have hard peas around the collar bone?
Its just about a week ago I discovered a pea sized hard lump just below my collar bone on the opposite side to my surgery, etc… and today I can’t get it out of my mind. Have phoned the hospital but can’t get through each time I’ve tried.
Sorry to bother you.
