Anyone successfully sued health authority for misdiagnosis?

Hi,
Has anyone successfully sued their health authority for misdiagnosis? I was misdiagnosed and feel very angry and anxious about it. I wonder if anyone has any advice to give me on how to go about sueing those responsible and if it is worth it? I’ve never even had an explanation other than: well, you were low risk…(ie. young). My story is under DCIS…Many thanks in advance. Any help is very much appreciated.

I am DCIS/IC. I think you should contact PALs and you can find them usually on the ground floor of the hospital. They do act fast and will explain it all to you - there are there as your voice.

I would also ask you what your doing to look after yourself through the stress of it all - please think about yourself first and take the necessary steps to keep yourself energised and relaxed.

i am also in the process of sueing for misdiagnosis.formally put ur complant to the medical board of directors of the hospital,await a reply and send it on to a good slicitor ! Best of luck xxxxx
