Appointment tomorrow Hi
I have my appointment tomorrow to discuss treatment for my newly diagnosed liver mets.
What treatment have others had?
Any questions I should ask?
Iam so scared

Hi Maxwellsmummy,

My wife has very large liver mets, about 75%. She has been on Xeloda for over a year now, very little side effects other than tiredness but the mets have not grown any more. They have not shrunk but as the docs said the brakes are still on.

Some questions I didn’t ask 1st time Ask exactly where the tumour/cancer is and how much.

If in a specific area, is it possible to have surgery ?

What chemo etc will depend upon exactly which type of cancer of have, eg triple negative, Her2+. Best to take someone with you so that you can remember what is said.
