I have been keeping an Arimidex diary since my recurrence in April and it is interesting to look back and see if there is any trend in the flushes and to me it seems that my flushes are significantly worse for 5 nights towards the end of every month - waking up drenched. I also seem to go through times when I think they are getting less and then boom - back they come. I can also say that they are worse after a couple of glasses of white wine but at times I just don’t care, life is tough enough as it is plus OH is in hospital with pneumonia on top of COPD and emphysema. Any comments welcome.
i have all this to look forward to come the 18th of december Olivia, i am so sad that your oh is in hospital, it must be really stressful for you at the moment, glasses of wine, well, yes, i do drink quite a few and no matter what i am not giving up my life completely, i enjoy having a glass of wine in the evening, and when i’m away, and until someone tells me that it will do me real harm to drink a few glasses of wine a night and it could do irrepairable damage to my health, well, i will continue to do as i want. i am going to start a diary as well i think its a great idea, even if it only prepares you for the bad days to come, hope your oh is home with you again soon xxxxxxxxx
