Good grief…I just wrapped up Christmas pressies for half an hour on the floor and needed a bloody crane to get me back up! What a state to get into…knackered too.
Where’s the choccie…

Hi ladies,
Well, I found out what the weakness was…Hypercalcaemia and not Arimidex. I had a measurement of 4 which is severe and spent 5 days in hospital. Could have seen me off apparently.
Docotrs are looking for bone mets and still haven’t found them…next test is an MRI.
What an experience!

I have been taking Arimidex for 3 years (2 more to go) and am really struggling with fatigue. I have a full-time job (which I enjoy) and which I cannot change for financial reasons, and quite a long commute which I would change if a job came up which was nearer to home, nothing so far and I keep looking. But I am really struggling, I usually stop the car on the way home and sleep for 15 minutes (its only an hours journey). Feel disjointed and unfocussed in meetings and frankly just want to lie down on the floor and sleep. I use up all of my concentration trying to stay awake rather than work. I eat well, am not over-weight, go to bed before 10pm (after snoozing on the sofa), I excercise regularly and think I do all the things that are recommended to energise you. Just had a series of bloods thinking maybe my thyroid is playing up, or B12 is low but all bloods were normal. I don’t want to stop taking the armidex due to its protective nature, but how to function. (I’ve already taken a ‘lighter’ job than I had and stalled my career and salary but its no better). Any tips gratefully received.
Good for you Searcher…reclaiming your life.x
