I hope someone can give me some advise. I have found a lump under my right armpit area near where the armpit meets the shoulder. i became aware of it as I have had a little bit of discomfort in this area and when I found it I became a little scared. I went to my doctor who completed a breast exam and said she could not find anything to worry about and when she examied the lump she said it is a lymph node which is soft, smooth and moveable. She also said she was not worried but if it was still their in four weeks to go bck and see her. I am now waiting for an ultra sound to determine what it is and what is causing the swelling. I would love to hear from anyone else that has something similar happen to them. I am also going through menopause but dont know itf that can have something to do with it.
