@bellbert, thank you. In a way I’m glad someone else has experienced the headaches, but also not glad as it’s so horrid! I met with my oncologist today and we talked through it all. She said I have to have the injections still with Paclitaxel, but there are options open to me if I don’t get on with the dose dense fortnightly dose. So we’ll see. She also said due to the timing of the headaches it would be hard to determine if they were from the injections or just toxicity and cumulative effects of the EC. I’m just going to hope and pray that Paclitaxel is better! xx
@sunshine-smile not feeling so good today, some pain in my hips and a bit of the dreaded dioraeah, nothing too bad though. Hoping to be feeling better for the weekend😜. It is a drag going to the hospital every week but I would do anything if it eased the side effects. How many Paclitaxel do you have to have, mine will be 9 so equivalent to 3 cycles.
Hope you get on OK with it, let me know how you get on xx
@preferablywithfood I feel for you so much I really do and know exactly how you feel about dreading your next round. Sending lots of love
xx
@bramble1 I’m so pleased for you and really pleased to hear you are feeling okay, it gives me some hope!! I had a massive boost being half way through, but still being only half way through is frustrating
it’s all previously gone so quick that I feel I should nearly be at the end now - how has a week gone so slowly!
I am feeling a bit more positive now. Met with my oncologist today and we’ve been talking about the radiotherapy, hormone treatment, and Ribociclib, so that feels like we’re getting to the next steps which although is still treatment, it’s not chemo, so yes light at the end of the tunnel.
Good luck, I am scheduled to have Paclitaxel weekly over 12 weeks, but I have asked if I could have Nab-paclitaxel as I am prone to allergies, but no answer on that as yet. Jane
