iv just had biospy on my right boob ,it was quite scary n i got abit upset as i didnt no they was gunna do that there n then n the doc i went to see before my appt at hospital had led me to belive that it was just an infection, but after antibioctics, the lump was still there, im a 33yr old mum of 2, iv just got married on the 1st nov , i hav finally got everything i wanted n now this, they were very nice at the hospital, but now i have to wait for the dreaded results that will change my life, i cant stand it, i cant think about anything esle,is ther any1 that is going thro the same thing b nice to talk to some1, that you for reading xx

Sorry you have had a difficult time and the waiting for results is the most stressful time. Once you know what is going on you can walk away and get on with your life or deal with whatever you have to deal with. I know you will have been told countless times already but 9/10 lumps are harmless so try not to worry too much. If the worst happens its not necessarily a death sentance and you will get lots of support and advice on this forum.
Its hard to believe 5 months ago I was living my live having started a new job that I loved and looking forward and now my life has changed and I am sat here with a different left boob (mastectomy and reconstruction) and going through chemo but I am and I am still living and intend to go on living.
Do you know when your results will be back? Its usually within a week.

Strippy, I note that you haven’t had any other replies. It might be that you should have posted under “have I got breast cancer”. Perhaps the moderator can move this post for you or you could re-post as I am sure there are lots of ladies who will add their support.

Just want to add that I,m sorry that you are in this place and I hope everything is ok with your results. I,m also waiting for biopsy results on a new lump after initial Dx May 07 which included surgery, chemo and rads. The waiting is sometimes the worst. I dont get my results until next Friday but I got my first biopsy results after 48 hours so hopefully you dont have to wait much longer.

Hi strippy i had my core biopsy 2 weeks ago and like you found it emotional. Stil haven’t got my results i really am going off my head with worry and no sleep making me very weepy. The worst thing is that i know that they were ready last week tho my consultant hadn’t made a report on them and i wanted the result to be faxed to my GP so that i didn’t have to wait any longer and they won’t do that but here is Friday and i stil don’t have an appointment through. I am to scared to think that no news is good news just want to know for sure. Take care. x
