Had pre op assessment Fri, op is on Tues and have just been reading info that they gave me and they advise not to shave for at least a week before surgery. Well I have been shaving so what do I do now with 2 days to go?
Don’t worry I was never asked this in fact that I shaved the day before surgery could be that they don’t want to introduce infection into the area which is always a possibility when shaving it’s fine I hope all goes wellx
thankyou, was thinking maybe they would turn me away! 
I had chemo before surgery so lost all my body hair, but since I had the op last December, I haven’t had to shave since! Every cloud…
Becky don’t worry,I was actually told to shave on the morning of my op.
