I finished radiotherapy in November but since then have been experiencing spasms in my upper back under my shoulder blade. Wasn’t sure if I have pulled a muscle but wondered if anyone else has experienced this after rads. Thanks xx

I have also had pains in my back but not spasms more shooting pains, perhaps you should give your bc nurse a call just to put your mind at rest, your body has been through a lot with treatment and anything that I have read the effects can last for a number of months , I am only post rads 4 weeks ago so not as far along the road as you . hope you feel better soon and remember to phone your healthcare team if you are worried about anything x
Hi I’ve had the same thing - spasms in upper back. Now 4 wks post rt and it’s almost gone. I think it was lying down every day in strange positions having to wriggle down and stay still. I’d started to worry but I’m sure it’s getting there. Think gentle stretches have helped like yoga but just go steady and give it time .
