I brought mine from girlyshop on the net. They have a variety of colours, and were only £3.50 each. The order was prompt, and they arrived within two days

Bandanas Try www.buffshop.co.uk - buffs can be used in a variety of ways and are available in great designs and a variety of materials…

Hope this helps

Bandanas I also bought some from girlyshop and found them very good, I also got some from bandanashop.co.uk. I had them in all colours to be colour co-ordinated with whatever I wore, it made me feel better.
Good Luck

Headcovers Sue,

Try www.headcovers.com. They have a super range of headgear.

Best wishes Pam

I have a great website for bandannas…it is www.guava.co.za - they are in SA - that is where I am living - but with the exchange rate of 15 to 1 you will get such a bargain. I have all my family and friends from UK buying them and getting them delivered from here at a much cheaper price than you would get in UK. And they have a little elastic bit at the back that you can pull on with one hand (if you have just had surgery and can’t move your arm much). They are cotton too, so don’t slip and such lovely designs and colours. I coordinated my tshirt with the same colour bandanna and everyone said I looked great.

My hair has grown back now though but I have given them all to another cancer website for the ladies on it…but just check out the website, they are brilliant. (I hope I am not too late, I am new to this!)

I found www.modestworld.com thanks to a recommendation on this forum. They provide head coverings for strict Jewish ladies who have to cover their hair completely, so their scarves are a bit bigger and more substantial than the fashion scarves you find in the shops. Their prices are very reasonable, they have a huge selection and postage is only 6 worldwide! They also have a useful page on different ways to tie scarves.

Head scarfs. I got my head scarfs from the holistic cancer centre at my hospital from the “Head Strong” group.
They give you advice on how to fasten the scarfs and also do bandanas.
They are all cotton as other fabrics tend to slip on a hairless head and they come pattened or plain.
I got plain coloured ones and only problem I have is that the dye comes out when they are washed.
Very reasonable priced at £1.50 each and they were made in India.
Maybe your hospital also has a Head Strong group.

Michelle.
