There was an interesting documentary on BBC1 last night; the second in a two part series about research involving twins. They covered epigenetics, which is an area of research concerned with the switching on and off of genes in the body’s cells. It’s not directly about BC, but was interesting because I think this kind of research is likely to lead to some startling developments in biological treatments for cancer, and they did mention this.
If anyone is interested, it is on iplayer at bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00n3wyg/The_Secret_Life_of_Twins_Episode_2/.
Apparently it is on BBC1 Scotland on Sunday.
