Hi all its been so long since i came on this site i had to re register.
Had bc grade 2 tumour hormone+, no chemo just rads, the lymph nodes were clear so did not expect another cancer but the consultant said there is no connection and I was just unlucky, you can say that again.
the only symptom i had was a spot of blood in the urine so if this happens to any of you or yours then get tested.
What horrible luck - I’m so sorry. My father was treated very successfully for bladder cancer last year. He had chemo followed by an op. Hope all goes well for you.
My step-dad had bladder cancer 4 years ago, he was treated with an op and radiotherapy and has had no re-occurance! So just to let you know that it is treatable.
I knew someone who had bladder cancer and they operated and gave her 6 months to live. She died 30 years later of old age. I hope this gives you hope.
Cyber hugs
Maria
chrisfemale - How awful for you! Hopefully, it has been caught early and you will be fine. Do you have to wait long for the op?
When you say you just had a spot of blood in the urine, was that just one time? Did that make you see your doctor? I have had similar on a couple of occasions but with symptoms similar to cystitis, although I don’t think it is. It seems to be more bladder inflammation, rather than infection.
