Hi All,
I just wanted to share with you my amazing experience on Wednesday night of being a model in the first BCC Fashion Show to be held in Cardiff. It was absolutely fabulous to meet such wonderful women and one man who have all been through similar experiences and to be pampered and spoiled all day! It was exhausting but exhilirating and I would encourage anyone to apply for any of the BCC Fashion shows. You will have an unforgettable experience!! If anyone had told me 7 years ago when I was first diagnosed at 32 that I would be up there confidently strutting my stuff and even changing in front of people and not batting an eyelid I wouldn’t have believed you but here I am at just 40 and 2 years living with secondaries and I just loved it and it has helped so much with my confidence.
I can’t praise and thank the organisers at Breast Cancer Care enough. It was fantastic from start to finish with sympathetic support and consideration to all the models.

Absolutely Fantastic Anne!!! What a night you must have had. We have done something similar here in Doncaster from our local Breast Cancer Group for a few years and as a result one of the models was asked to do the London Show and most of us went down to see her. I was never able to model due to Arthritis but I was what you call ‘front of house’ at our local shows but enjoyed it just the same. I have been to London 3 times to see the shows and they are so inspiring. I’ve just watched the video and you all looked great.
