We are going from Friday 15th January to Monday 18th January - if you or anyone else nearby would like to come and meet up for the day please let us know - the more the merrier!!
I can truly say that I do not know how I would have got through the six months since diagnosis without the lovely ladies I have cyber met on here, and I am so excited about meeting so many of them in SIX weeks time. They are all so strong and so positive, and I consider myself truly priviledged to have made so many amazing new friends. I know I have said it before, but this is my silver living to the black cloud that is breast cancer.

What agreat idea She - day trips for everypone else so we can have a shin dig over lunch!
I have the direct number for aqua sana in sherwood and I am going to ring 'em and plead our case for a few massages etc. Even if they wont do massage we can still have facials, pedicure (if my toes nails are back) or manicure ( see previous for finger nails too) we shud also be able to use most of the spa rooms and pools - as jan and bahons say avoid excessive heat or cold.
We can use the pool and rapids that is part of the ‘sub tropical paradise’ also there are loads of out door stuff - I fancy absailing rock climbing and the tree top walk - any one else - bet pixie will!

As one of the Storm Riders (I’m sure you’ve seen the thread!) who had a weekend away together - all I can say is - GO FOR IT!
We had the most incredible experience - we’d all met on here, a few had met in “real life”, but mostly, we were “cyber buddies”. And we had a ball, loads of laughs, a good few tears, and made friends for life.
rachel, i’m afraid you wont be getting me up any trees!!! I had to go up a ladder into the loft for xmas decorations - i was a quivering wreck - such a scaredy-pants when it comes to anything higher than a bar stool!!! Also a wee bit water phobic, which is why i like to keep my feet on terra ferma - i’m quite sure i’ll find plent of that in sherwood!
Shazza - i’m happy to go with eveyone else - would’nt want to look like the odd one out!! I’m a size 10-12 (erring mostly to the 12 now unfortunately!). Are we having our user names on the t-shirts?

Oh can’t believe I’ve only just found this thread! There is NO WAY they’re gonna stop me using the spa; it’s utterly ridiculous. I will lie if I have to, so there.
Rach, I’d be up for a bit of abseiling and using the indoor climbing wall IF time permits (bet that’s shocked you!). It certainly won’t be a priority though; drinking, gossiping, eating, and pampering all come first (and in that order!). Swimming under the stars sounds nice, but won’t it be a bit cold swimming outdoors in January??
To any of the ladies who have been to CP before, do you think it will be difficult to get reservations in the restaurants for 20 of us if we leave it until we get there?? Always thinking about food
