Welcome to the club that no-one wants to join. You will get plenty of support from everyone on here.
Positive thinking will really help you with the journey you are about to go on. It won’t be easy, but stick around here because we have all been where you are right now and will give help wherever possible. Chemo, if you have to have it, can be tough but is doable so don’t be frightened.
Take care

So sorry to hear your results, it is such a shock but your really doing the right thing by thinking positively, you have to for your child, its a long journey but you get there. I went into “get on with it” mode when i found out, and tried to laugh through my chemo and all the other treatment they threw at me. But when you do want a hug or have silly questions were all here for you, what ever is thrown at you there will be someone here thats been through it to so can hopefully give you some answers. Stay strong and together we will beat it.

Hi Madgal
Posted on your other thread too. So so sorry you have had to join us on this forum, and sorry your results were bad, but you know you will get heaps of support from us all on here that will help you get through it, and your kids will help you through it to. Mine do for sure.
You are right to stay positive, but you will find some days harder than others. Hopefully as you said won’t need chemo, but if you do, it is doable and not as scary as we all think. Can’t help with radiotherapy, as not had that, but again others will help with this.
Take care of yourself and we are all here for you whenever you want.
Love

Hi,
I’m really sorry to hear of your results today. I expect you are feeling a little numb today, but it’s so good that you are positive. I’m on here as my Mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer and starts chemo tomorrow. I was also petrified when I heard the consultant say chemo, but thanks to this website and lots of reading up, it now doesn’t seem so scary. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s not going to be pleasant, but we are going to do everything we can to make it bearable.
I wish you luck and strength for the coming weeks. Keep being positive and on this site, the people are amazing.
Dear madgal,
So sorry to hear you news today, but also pleased that you will start your treatment so fast. To me this diagnosis has been a life changing event - and not necessarily in a negative sense. I guess it really makes you (certainly made me) stop up and think about things from a completely different perspective and a lot of things in your life suddenly changes priority. When I was first dianosed I read Jane and Mike Tomlinson’s book The Luxury of Time - a fantastic book by two truly amazing people - I can warmly recommend it - I found immense consolation, strenght and motivation from reading it.
I wish you all the very best with your operation - and as has already been said; we are all here to help make each other’s journeys more bearable.
Hugs
Anneli

Dear Madgal
Sent you a message this morning, so sorry at your news, it is very difficult knowing what to say. As everyone above has said you will get all the support, love and care on this site. One way or another we have all the answers between us. I found once I knew for sure you could plan a way forward, the waiting game is the worst. In the time you have before your op write anything down you would like to ask, as a lot of us has said, we think of all the questions but when sitting opposite the doctors everything goes blank. When you know your answers you can help in deciding the best course of treatment to you. Continue to be brave and positive but have a good cry also if you feel the need, it does help to get rid of most of the tension and clear your thoughts a little.
Love to you
K
Hello Madgal
I am so sorry you have had to join this forum, but you will find lots of support and advice. It has been my lifeline.
Continue to be brave and positive but do not be surprised if all of a sudden you get upset. Take each day as it comes and as everyone has said the waiting is the worst. Once you have a plan at least you will know where you are heading.
I am recently diagnosed 30th July but my treatment plan keeps changing due to results.
Look forward to chatting
Love
Anne
Hi Madgal, like all of us, you are very very special, don’t ever forget that, i have had my good and bad days, but basically i am a stronger person now, its not an easy journey, but as said above, its very doable.
lots of love

Hi Madgal
Just to reiterate what has been said above, truly sorry you have had to join us but we will support you all we can be it though tears or laughter. The waiting at the beginning is def so awful but once treatment starts. Just had 2nd chemo today and not too bad so far, they can give you so much to help with side effects, so don’t worry too much if that turns out to be needed. But wish the best results for you. Good to hear you are feeling positive it is so important. But don’t worry if you have your bad times as well, as said we are all here for each other through good and bad. Allow yourself to be yourself.
Take care and thoughts with you,
Love
