They said to remove the steri strips when I went for my CT yesterday. So the people who had recurrences where they HER2, triple negative or hormone receptive? My cousin said her recurrence was definitely HER2.

Hi everyone, well i got my generic results back and it was good news it came back all clear on the 7 genes. Ive been give a date for surgery so im guessing it will be a lumpectomy now. Ive got my pre op 28th August so i can ask questions😁

I got my results yesterday. In a nutshell it’s a recurrence hasnt spread, the size is 1.19cm, it’s Oestrogen and HER2 receptive, so I’ll have chemo and Herceptin, followed by an operation and then radiotherapy to my axilla. Awaiting a video call appointment now with the oncologist which may be made today. So I will be on a chemo thread soon when I have a start date. Hopefully soon.

Linda_Corinne :heart: sorry to hear you’ll have to have chemo again, one of the Oct17 gang had recurrence no spread and had to do chemo again, she got through and is doing well :heart: hope your call went ok and you get treatment ms started quickly :heart: remember get to your dentist to get your teeth checked before starting chemo, get your look good feel better session booked at your Macmillan at your trust and everything else your entitled to :heart: big hug :two_hearts::two_hearts:Shi xx

Looks like I’ll be on the Sep chemo thread. I have an onc appointment on 23rd August and it’s taking 16 days to start currently. Spoke to an onc in Bristol but best to have it locally. So need to get organised before then.

:heart:don’t forget anosol and senokot when steroids could block you up depending on which type of chemo you get :heart: and your Diflam mouth sloosh too :heart::two_hearts::two_hearts:Shi xx

You can ask your onc for the difflam to be included in your goody bag of steroids etc that you’ll have to get before you start :heart: I’ve no idea on pic covers I didn’t have a pic or port just straight into veins via hand. I know others have been getting pic covers recent on chemo threads hopefully one of them will jump on here and share where they got theirs with you :heart::two_hearts::two_hearts::sparkles::sparkles:Shi xx
