hello ladies after last weeks poor app had a much better one today with onc am due to start xeloda tablets to hopefully get things under control my onc was lovely , has anyone had experience with xeloda any comments welcome love to you all.have also posted on trip neg recurrence thread…x

Yep I’m just finishing my third cycle of Capecitabine (Xeloda) and doing well -no digestive problems like with FEC or TAX but my feet and hands are very sore most of the time and are taking alot of management. Taking the tablets is so much easier than IV especially as my veins are not knackered! I think you can search “capcitabine” and find info on other threads as I’ve had lots of advice from others about SEs. The other thread that has info about this is the “liver and bone mets” thread as many of us have Capecitabine. Hope it works for you - one person on here has been successfully taking it for 7 years and has inspired me and already I’ve had a “stable” verdict after just 2 cycles. If you can’t find the info on the other threads do continue to ask questions on this thread.
