Better days!!

Hi Ladies
felling more positive again today, I think the hardsest part initially was keeping everyone else together! Then a few days later reaslising this is happening to ME and just falling apart. Saw my Nurse today to chat about things I needed to know and she needed to make sure I had taken everything in. It was helpful to talk again and know the ups and downs were normal. It was even better to hear some of you had initially gone into ‘overdrive’ as I thought [& all around me] I was going mad.
Am calmer now, but it is true, you have a need to ‘get things done’, then I open a bottle of wine& get nothing done at all.
Biggest challenge at present seem’s to be finding the sports bra my Nurse advised me to get for after the op. Have typed in measurements on various internet sites to get proper fitting & the measurements are nothing like I would normaly buy!
thanks for all your support & this site realy is the best place to talk because we are all going through the same thing.
Take care Lynnxxx

Hi Lynn

Good to hear you have had a better day, it so reminded me of where I was a few months ago and I am just about coming through the other side. Worse thing is that chemo has put me off wine, I so liked a glass!

I hated having my bras fitted by the M &S lady and the clinic nurse but I am ready to go and choose my own now things have settled down.

Thanks C
Have just bought a sports bra for more support after surgery, certainly wont be playing netball anytime soon! Not that I ever did. Shame about the wine I guess I have that to come, but untill then I will have a glass for both of us. Take care Lynn xxx
