Better immune system after treatment?

Ever since breast cancer, my immune system has been stronger.  All my life up to diagnosis I would catch any cold going around.  Since then, however, I’ve hardly ever been ill.  If there is a cold going around, I may start sneezing and have a bit of a runny nose for a day, but I get up the next day absolutely fine again, like my immune system has fended it off.

 

Has anyone else had this?  And if so, what aspect of the treatment has caused this?  I had FEC & Tax chemo, herceptin and am still taking tamoxifen.  I am 9 years on from dx.

Interesting roadrunner, funnily enough over the years prior to diagnosis, I suffered food allergies, I’ve. Apples, carrots raw,almond nuts, etc I now can eat all these things without allergy. However, I still have hay fever unfortunately! I too had fec,tax, herceptin!
