Sorry I pressed post by accident. Cancer thoughts are poo. I am feeling daft for panicking about something that may not be (mind set changed, it is flexible at the moment) ha. Especially when i know there are people who like you are going through what you are! christmas is always on, at 18 and 16 you would think the kids are less excited, but it is quite the opposite, they are already planning what time to get up, I work a lot of Christmases and am off this Christmas Day this year, I have begged for a slightly longer sleep. Doubt they will let me. Haha.
I just want to say I think you are wonderful for taking so much time to chat and I can’t thank you enough.

Just a quick note. I have been for my biopsies and they have said that they dont think it is anything to worry about. Should hear properly next week. Apparently the fluid from my breast biopsy was thick and that is a good thing? They didn’t say anything about the fluid from Axillary node but am thinking positive. Xxxxxxxxxxxxx

MI have got a little anxiety but I imagine that is normal. I think it is because they didn’t say anything about the Lymph node? I will soon know so will keep going with the head down as they say. Ha.

I have just had my results. It is a fibroadenoma and some infection from it. They have asked thwatch continue to monitor and call them if anymore changes, but good news on results.

New to this forum tonight , so just reading through posts. Wonderful news for you Andi37 x Cheryl17 I was diagnosed on 27th November and not the news you want before Christmas or at anytime! I had WLI and SLN surgery on 10th December and then my results on 18th Dec which thankfully came back negative from the SLN. It all seems to have happened so fast from diagnosis to now waiting to see if I need to have chemo or wether or not I will just have rads and Tamoxifen. Fortunately I have private healthcare otherwise I would still be waiting to have surgery sometime in January! Its all still a bit of a whirlwind but staying as positive as I can. Have managed to get through Xmas happy and smiling for my 12yr old daughter and my family…hope you both had a good Xmas…let’s stay positive together xxx

I go for my mastectomy and LD flap reconstruction on the 11th jan not looking forward to it, but i don’t have any choice so let’s gt rid of 2012 and bring on 2013.
