I wanted to share this here for anyone about to have their 2nd stage breast screening.
They described the lump as hard like a wart and 5mm in size and took samples of it by needle biopsy.
I have just received my result and it’s a fibroadenoma, which is benign.
I’m in my 50s and pre-menopausal. Apparently fibroadenomas occur mostly in younger women.
