Hi there, I had my second ultra sound and biopsy (core needle) yesterday lunchtime and the hospital have said my results will be ready on Wednesday just 2 days after having the biopsy. After researching it that seems very quick? I’m happy to not have to wait but does anyone else know if that’s right? The time off work is very difficult so I can’t take more time off if the hospital don’t have my results tomorrow.
Any help would be great as I am struggling to cope and the wait itself is painful!

Hi Sheena, thanks for replying. Maybe it is usual to have the results so quickly. After looking it up online it seemed 5-7 days was more standard.
I’m up & down, which is to be expected. Trying to be strong and stay positive.

Wow it’s amazing you have stayed focused and positive! I haven’t told anyone apart from my partner and close family. Too scared to tell friends incase they walk away. So you are right it will be the time I’ll find out who is strong enough to support me if I get bad news tomorrow. It’s hard trying to keep working too and having time off is not going down well, which is hard when personally I’m going thru the worst time of my life. It’s a roller coaster that’s for sure! xx
