Biopsy Results Tomorrow

Have I got breast cancer? Appointments and waiting for test results

Hi all!

 

I am getting my core needle biopsy results tomorrow after waiting 7 days. I can honestly say it’s been the worst 7 days of my life. My anxiety has been through the roof and I feel like I can’t talk to anyone about it as they say that’s all they’ve heard off me. I don’t think they get how worried I actually am.

I am only 25 so I am hoping for the best, as they said they couldn’t see anything on the ultra sound scan, just dense breast tissue but they could feel it.

Any thoughts welcome!

Hi Hannah,

Of course you will be anxious & it can feel quite isolating as other’s who’ve not been through it, don’t necessarily get it

If nothing else, the clinic is being thorough, which is good, although of course, it doesn’t feel like it when you’re going through it.

Chances are, all’s well & it’s just dense breast tissue as you say.
