I was dx in 2004, grade 3, no lymph involvement, WLE, Chemo/. Rads., and 5 yrs Tamoxifen.
I was discharged from Breast clinic last May and put on 2 yrly Mammograms so didn’t get one this year.
On checking myself the other day I found a area on effected Breast that felt abit sinewy,…not sure if there is an area the same on other side as obviously their is more flesh on other side.
Plucked up courage to ring Breast Care Nurse today and she is arranging for me to see Consultant to get it checked…have never meet this Consultant as she replaced mine when he retired 2yrs ago…then my BCN let in June this year too.
Am hoping I am being over Cautious.
i understand that our risks of recurrence are often much less than we worry they are, but you must be worried sick. Well done for getting the ball rolling to either give you some peace of mind back, or if its not the good news you hope for, to get started on beating the little bu***r asap. Its not easy when your original team have moved on, but i bet these ones are great too. Good luck, let us know how things go on, thinking of you

There’s no such thing as being over cautious with this illness, you are doing the right thing! I’m sure this Dr will be just as good as the previous one.
Take care

Well went today, saw a member of Miss V’s team, had a poke around said felt ok, did ultrasound which showed nothing there except a few sacs of fluid, having mammogram next Wednesday as haven’t had one since Jan last year just to be on safe side.
