Bleeding Fedup!
Bleeding Fedup! Hi, advice needed please, had mastectomy last year and after being on Tamaxofen for two months came off as it didn’t suit me. I then went on to Arimidex which seemed better until about four months ago when i started to have very heavy bleeding for two weeks every month. I have just come out of hopital as i became so anemic i had to have a blood transfusion, saw three different doctors each gave differrent opinions one suggested i go onto a drug that lightens the bleeding although i was was given tranadex? a few months ago and my doctor then stopped it because she didn’t think it was wise. Another said i should consider a hysterectomy as this drug would continue to cause problems, i feel so tired even though i have just had new blood i have started bleeding again. I recall being told that when you take these drugs for breast cancer there is a hightened risk of getting womb cancer, i am very confused. Can anyone give me some advice. Thanks Linlin xxx
