Have trawled through many pages of inspiring and supportive messages and been very touched by them while searching for information on bleeding nipples.
I went to the doctor recently as my right nipple was bleeding a little. She said that the breast was also warmer than the other and asked about other changes. I didn’t remember at the time but I had noticed last summer that my right breast was larger than the left.
I had a mammo this week and am waiting to hear the results. I feel well, have no pain or discomfort and while I think i’m putting it to the back of my mind I keep reading sights like this one for reassurance. I’m 59, three grown up children, all breastfed.
You have done the most important thing by going to your GP and having mammogram. Whatever the outcome, the sooner it is treated the better. None of us can or will offer false reasurrances but you’ve done the right thing. Please let us know the outcome as we will all be thinking of you.
Thank you so much for responding. I hope to get a letter re the next appointment this week as I was told I’d see the consultant again within two weeks.
I feel that this site has helped a lot and support like yours is very touching, thank you.
Will post again after the next appointment, with hopefully, brilliant news!
