Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience.
I had mastectomy in Nov '05 and started Zoladex Feb '06 as I am premenopausal. Came off Zoladex in May and started Tamoxifen. I started bleeding over the weekend. Seemed very odd after so many years. Called BCC Helpline and found info helpful. Seen GP this a.m and he is going to call gynae consultant to discuss.
Any ideas anyone??

Hi my case is so simialr. Had mastectomy jan 06 zoladex feb 06 for two year and still on tamoxifen. About 6 months after finishing zoladex i had 3 really havy periods, they then stopped for a wfile and then i bled on and off for a few months i went to my gp who sent me for a hystocopy, due to abdominal pain and back pain but all was ok. my gp is happy with the periods as long as they are regular. Unfortunately for the past few months they have been irregular , so think i will have to callat gp again. Last time he did say i could have an early menopause to the the zoladex. it is still worth getting it checked out.

Thank you for replying to my question. I’ve lookd around at a few more posts and it does seem that bleeding is quite common. Like you, I’m sure there isn’t a problem, but I will go back to GP if I don’t hear from him soon. Yes, you prob need to see your GP again. More hosp visits!!
