Blisters on feet
Blisters on feet has anyone had blisters on their feet??? Is this the chemo trying to get me or have i just been standing too long???
I’ve had 4 epi and I’m due to start CMF tomorow and today, for the first time throughout this, i’m feeling sorry for myself… I’ve got another chest infection (taking anti biotics) I’ve got a mouthful of ulcers and a huge blister on each foot - right on the balls of the feet which means each time I walk I swear!!! I had a wedding on Saturday - did have new shoes but they seemed to be quite comfy with a very low heel - do I blame the shoes or the chemo for the blisters???

blame the chemo, its easier that way!! I am blaming it for everything at the mo, inc my destroyed taste buds as far as strongbow is concerned and my foggy memory!
I’m on the same chemo as you and haven’t had sore feet as yet but am a couple of weeks behind you so perhaps I’ve got that to look forward too! Wasn’t aware that sore feet could be a side effect of epi so perhaps your new shoes may have contributed? Were you on your feet for a long time at the wedding?
Anyway, I’m sure the shoes are fierce so defo blame the chemo for your blisters!! I hate it already and have only had 2 x epi. Can’t wait to feel ‘normal’ again!

OUCH !!! Poor you - having painful feet is rotten. It just makes doing anythin really painful. Could be that having ytour immune system kicked by the chemo and steroids plus the heat has made you vulnerable to a fungal infection, or a possible reaction to a dye/chemical in you new shoes??? Let the nurses have a look tomorrow.
I’ve broken out in cold sores which is a bit depressing. Bald I can deal with but scabbiness is just plain nasty!!
I’ll be thinking of you starting CMF - I have my last Epi on Friday. Feel rather nervous about moving on. I just keep thinking every dose is one less to go roll on October.

I also had burns with blisters on my feet from my chiemo (TAC) my onco said it doesn’t often occur, so I guess it’s something to do with our chemistry!!
It goes away again and I sypathise with you totally it’s very sore and uncomfortable to stand or walk.

blisters when i had chemo i couldnt walk for blisterd feet, i found that the body shops pepermint massage gel worked a trest it was so soothing. also lost the skin off my hands, looked like a lizard!!!wish you well for your further treatments, love lynn x
