This is my very first post so hope I have done this in the right area. I’m due to start Capecitabine very soon my first blood test will be before I go away on holiday. I’ve recently found out that I will need a 3 weekly blood test before the next cycle can be prescribed however I am due to be away on holiday. Has anyone been in this situation and had bloods taken whilst away then results sent to oncology team? Thank you
My Oncology Team have always been very good about holidays & worked round them. I would ask them what they suggest.

Hey thanks for the reply. I’m seeing them this week so will sound them out. I’ve already had to cancel 2 holidays due to treatment and don’t really want to cancel this one. I’ll see what they suggest.
