Didnt know where to put this question but i know some people on here are very well informed.
I had a pelvic bone scan last oct and it showed a torn tendon but nothing sinister.
For the past 3 weeks have hardly been able to walk with hip and leg pain.
Obviously i am concerened and mind going everywhere.
My friend said to me today ‘you can’t possibly have bone mets as you had a scan in Oct and it would have shown something’ Is she correct?
I dont want unecessary scans but obviously i need to know why i can’t walk.

Hi Lovebird,
I had a repeat bonescan on 28july(first was 28feb0 to check on the suspicious changes on my right hip and left shoulder blade. The results came were better and they cleared, maybe because im in the middle of my chmemo regime still…but i got a tiny change on left ankle too but nothing to be concerned about,no cancer cells.I take it …BETTER news for now.
As regards your scan,i just wondered what did ther suggest on delaing with the torn tendom as it was already seen on the Oct scan ? surely if it is causing you discomfort it is just right for you to expect clarity on this…thatsnormal…ask the questions on your next clinic if possible.
