Hi Cj_1 How are you getting along? I had a tough time coming off the steroids and the morphine, but all done now. My biopseys confirmed her2 negative as per my original diagnosis, and I’m back on the pesky letrazole, and about to commence ricloboblibliblib and denensaumab. Have you commenced a treatment plan? Does it involve the same? I’ve read varying experiences and can’t quite gauge the patterns of good and bad weeks / days / hours yet. The shock for me seems to be settling into a more sober philosophical overall sense of sadness, with pangs of fear about the potential of so tired all the time. But so far keeping upbeat for family and friends. Any how’s… Thinking of you and hoping all is going as best as can be.
Hello, I’m on similar drugs to you @katesflowers. I’ve found exercise really helps me, both to get more energy and to feel better. Ive seen a couple of counsellors other the years too. I also try and do something nice for myself when I’m feeling down.
I hope you get into a rhythm with the tablets soon.x
Hey there,
Slight delay waiting for HER2 to come back, but I’m 5 days into Ribociclib, all fine! Slight increase in aches but nothing else to report… yet. First lot of bloods/ECG on treatment next week, so will see what that brings… xx
Glad to hear the ricloboblib isn’t a burden… My research into a shows it’s quite a game changer so fingers crossed it is tolerable. I start week after next… We had a pre booked holiday prior to diagnosis… The artic circle in Finland!
At least it’ll keep the Letrozole induced “hot moments” at bay! Enjoy your holiday xx
