Booked a place on the Younger Women’s Together event in Birmingham but worried about going alone?

 

Considering booking a place but not sure?

 

Every year we receive queries from women, including concerns about coming along to the event on their own. Feedback from previous events has said how helpful it was to talk before the event.
This thread is a chance for you to say hello and “meet” others attending the Younger Women Together. I will check in regularly and if you have any questions do let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

I’m Sam and (when I get organised) i’ll be travelling to the event by train from Coventry. I’ll be getting a taxi from there to the venue to minimise stress…assuming that is the taxi driver knows where he’s going :wink:

I’m looking forward to meeting you all; we have a pretty major thing in common!

Hi everyone

Just to echo everyone else’s thoughts really - I’m really looking forward to a couple of days hanging out with women who have walked the walk. I’m sure we’ll all come away stronger and with a spring in our step.

I live in Birmingham so not far to travel. Car parking is pretty straight forward - rest assured!

Hi, looks like I won’t be joining you all now, stuck in hospital with neutropenia and stinking head cold! Gutted I can’t make it, was really looking forward to it ? bloody chemo, bloody breast cancer!! Hope you all have fun xx

Thankyou ALL for a great couple of days.  I was a little scared coming but there was no need, as you were all so welcoming, lovely and kind.  A fantastic venue and so pleased to meet an inspiring strong bunch of ladies.
