Hello Ladies,
So lovely to read all your posts so far, really looking forward to Friday 3rd and meeting you all.
I’m Amanda, I live in Cardiff, was diagnosed a week before Christmas 2014! I had 2 lumpectomies, axillary lymph node clearance, chemox6, radio x15 (breath hold) and have been taking a daily tamoxifen since August 2015. I constantly worry about developing lymphedema and am looking forward to the group on that. I still feel like I have chemo brain, nearly 3 years down the line ?
Have safe journeys to Cardiff and see you all on 3rd,
Amanda X

Hi All,
Really good to read all your stories so far. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all. I was diagnosed in August 2016 when my son was 1yr and 1 week old. Hiya. I’m useless at this technology stuff lol. I’m on the 8-40 train from neath. Can’t get one earlier as I have to get childcare sorted as it’s half term x
Hi everyone,
One more sleep! Lol
Kind of nervous about tomorrow but excited to meet others who have been down the same road.
I’m travelling from Merthyr on train if anyone else is on route that way we can meet and go together xx
Hi everyone I’m Therese. I’m just packing ready for the event tomorrow (nothing like being organised eh?!) travelling from Carmarthen. I was diagnosed last April - four months before my wedding! But I got through it all and finished all my treatment in December. I’ve just had my third check up at the breast clinic. 18 months clear and another little milestone met. I’m back in work full time and my treatment feels as though it was centuries ago, although the after effects are lingering. Looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow to share experiences and hopefully lots of positives. Nos da.
It was a pleasure to meet all of you wonderful ladies. I was emotionally drained yesterday, but have had lots of reflection time today, and am feeling positive from the weekend and very inspired by you all…strong, amazing, beautiful younger women together! I wish you all the best for your future journeys. Louise xxx
