Hi everyone. I had breast cancer last year and went through chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. My children were 26, 24, 19 and 16 so it was easy to talk through what was happening with them. I am now a full time student studying illustration and I am really interested in producing a picture book that helps children understand what is happening to mummy or daddy as I have seen on here how many people have very young children when they get breast cancer.
I would be very grateful to hear about any books or sources of information you found helpful or what you think is needed or would have helped you.
