Boooo to more chemo

Hi All,

So yesterday I should have had my first taxotere and be sat here today feeling pants but with only 6 weeks and two more to go. But it turns out I have a benign liver condition called gilberts syndrome which means my bilirubin goes high and the tax was going to be too much strain on poor alcohol soaked liver.

So many boos and hisses, I now have to have taxol every week for 12 weeks so am looking at another 3 months of this silliness and not sure how the veins will stand up to it as they are hard to find at the bext of times.

Was weepy about it yesterday, but woke up this morning feeling alright and also lucky my onc was v positive, said they were going off-piste for me to give my maximum treatment etc which is what it’s all about afterall!

Anyone had anything similar?? Hope you’re having good days!
xx
