Hi, I’ve just had my fourth borderline malignant phyllodes removed from the same breast. My consultant has now advised a mastectomy as a preventative measure, as the remaining breast tissue is very dense and scarred, making any further WLE surgery very difficult. I’m terrified and confused. Has anyone been in a similar position. I would love to hear from anyone, it may help me unravel all the thoughts and emotions that are racing around in my head right now. Thanks x
Hi pinot65
It may also help to give the helpline a call to talk things over. They are open from 9-5 on weekdays and 9-2 on Saturdays. Calls are free and confidential.
Take care
Very best wishes
