Bra filler needed

Bra filler needed

Bra filler needed Does any one know how you get bra filler? I had a WLD in Feb was given a filler out of the cupboard to use as I was going on holiday.
The BCN said I would get filler if I needed one after the rads as she expected my breast to grow /swell due to the rads.
Well it hasn’t, if anything it’s even smaller. The filler I got was always too small – just what was available I think.
Problem is do I have to buy one? How much do they cost? Where Sells them?
I moved counties so don’t have a BCN any more – and can’t bring myself to ask the BCN here if she is willing to help and can I get her support.
I really need one as I look lop sided and I don’t want to have to keep wearing bid t shirts and jumpers over Christmas.

bra fillers I use Breast enhancers also called chicken fillets. They are available from La Senza shops or good old M&S. They are quite pricey at around £20 but you have the conviinence of picking them up off the shelf. They come in pairs so for us it is double value. Hope this helps.

Please see BC Nurse Hi Glo
Please go and see BC Nurse, I too had WLE (July 03), and after all treatment had finished I got fitted with a ‘partial prothesis’. this made a huge difference to what I felt comfortable wearing.

I had all treatment privately but insurance co would not pay for prothesis, but I got this on NHS no probs. I did initially get one from M&S, these come in pairs, and I had to wear both in one side, but it really wasn’t the right shape or size. I now wear tight T-shirts.

I mostly wear pocketed bras, as I find them more comfortable, my skin is rather sensitive and the pocket keeps the silicon away from the skin. Can wear ordinary bras, but not underwired as the shape is wrong. Note that some pocketed bras are not suitable for partials, but most companies can advise which are.

If you really don’t want to see BC Nurse, you can buy them from Amoena and Nicola Jane.

I did find that chemo and rads made skin and area inflamed, but it took at least 6 months for all the puffiness to go away. I would recommend doing something now, it really is worth it.

Good luck.
