Went to purchase a normal bra and was told that I could buy them for the rest of my life VAT free. House of Fraser also do swimming costumes VAT free.
Am I not looking in the right places or is there lack of info on the subject.

Ive never heard of that, only heard that a wig would be VAT free. will be interested to know if anyone else knows.

Not 100% sure but I think bras made specifically for mastectomy waiver VAT. Check with your Breast Specialist Nurse.

This was just a normal of the shelf bra and I was told just say I am a vat free person and sign the form each time. One of the examples on the form was diabetes.
I believe John Lewis is the same but I am not too sure on the swimming costumes.

Do you know that bras made from conventionallly produced cotton are thought to be carcinogenic?
I found this out sometime last year when I was searching for seam-free cotton bras (I can’t wear a seam across the cup or synthetic fabrics because of nipple eczema).
That was when I had to go hunting for organic cotton, seam free bras.
Lo and behold I have a whole pile of them now!
They are very comfortable and actually good for you and the environment, too.
I can supply names of stockists for anyone who is interested.
