Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Course - Cardiff, 11th Jan

Have you just been diagnosed with Breast cancer or are undergoing treatment? If so, the NHS and Breast cancer Care are working together to provide a rehabilitation programme for people diagnosed with primary breast cancer.

The next course starts on the 11th January and will run every Monday morning for 4 weeks - 10am - 12:30pm.

The programme examines some of the main issues that may affect you and aims to provide information, support and professional guidance on how to cope during and after treatment. The four week course covers:

Week 1 - Reducing the risk of lymphoedema and exercise after surgery
Week 2 - Weight management, dispelling dietary myths and complementary therapies.
Week 3 - Communication, cancer fatigue and coping strategies.
Week 4 - Welfare rights and returning to work.
