Hi ladies, my gp referred me to breast clinic as iv been getting pain, numbness, tingling, shooting pain in my left breast and in my arm pit and occasionally my shoulder and shoulder blade ache. I am just 50. Had my first mammogram 18mths ago and was recalled for further investigation,it turned out to be calcifications after a more in depth mammogram and ultrasound and no further treatment.
My appointment is tomorrow morning, I am trying to be positive but I’m starting to feel anxious this evening.has anybody else experienced painful breasts rather than lumps that have turned out to be b.c?xx
Hi Dardoo,
Well, as you’ve recently had a clear mammo, chances are it would be unlikely to be bc.
From what I’ve seen posted here, breast pain has not usually been associated with a bc diagnosis.
Wishing you well for tomorrow.
