Breast pain and inverted nipple

Hi,i am 53 yrs old and went to my Docs yesterday after having breast pain since Dec 2010 and inverted nipple since Feb 2011.I know I should have gone sooner but my work involves a lot of lifting and had put it down to a pulled muscle.In Feb my nipple became inverted and i hoped it would all go away!!! I am an avid viewer of QVC and when i heard that Ali Keenan had BC i started checking out ur forums!I plucked up the courage to see my Doc yeserday and she has referred me to a breast surgeon, i should hear in next 2 wks! I would be most grateful 4 any advice u guys can give me !!! LOL XXX

Hi Izzy

Good for you to take that first step to get things checked out, best to admit to any changes and get the specialists on to it sooner rather than later. I obviously can’t say whether this will turn out to be a bc or something else, however, what I can say is the sooner something is picked up, if that is the case, the sooner treatment can start and the better for you in the long run. I do hope that this turns out not to be bc for you.
