Bright red face!?!!

I am first day after 2nd session of FEC. Went really well on the first session but a bit more bleurgh this time. Main thing is though I have a really red face and down my chest, a bit like when you get a hot flush. No temperature, just feel a bit yukky. Has anyone else had this, should I worry?

Hi Jukes,

that can sometimes be a side effect of the steroids.

I had “steroid face” - went red for a day or two… didn’t go down to my chest though, and didn’t last, so if it does, I’d ask your BCN about it on Monday… Hope you feel better soon… Jane

Hi Harriet, i had a steroid flush the day after both my chemo’s so far. My face was bright red & it went right down to my chest, looked a bit like i’d been in the sun too long. Didn’t feel hot or anything & it disappeared the next day. Hopefully yours will too. But if you’re worried ring them x

Hiya it happens to me all the time I on no 5 and it is down me chest too it goes off after steroids have finished.
