hi had mx in oct had 25 rads fin 2nd feb i have had cording since 2nd wk of op and am having physio but i have quite a lot of tightness across my scar area and now been told this might be scar tissue and to massage area bacause of skin soreness this cant be done much can anyone help as to if will always be tight or does it give in time not getting much help from bcn many thanks laura

I had a MX in Nov 08, my scar area and under my arm is still very tight, no give at all and still feels sore. I underwent almost a year of physio to scar area and to my arm and shoulder and unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have helped.
I just make sure I do the arm stretches every day to try and keep it supple and to massage it myself, which I usually do every evening after my bath when the skin is supple.
From what I can remember you live in France too, like me and also had IBC?

I’m not sure if i’m in the right place. Has anyone had an itchy rash where they had radiotherapy. I finished radiotherapy in October after surgery and chemo. This is now the second time i have had an outbreak along my breast and along my collarbone. Thanks
Hi peacock.thanks for info my physio won’t do anymore says not getting any results not pleased I had snb so didn’t exspect this no I’m in Uk and they thought was Ibc but if wasn’t thank god i’m trying to do the exercises but hard work
