Can anyone advise

I am having my third WLE on 1st July, and have also had surgery before for my SNB. After SNB I was absolutely fine, if not a bit sore, but was in my garden where i love to be potting seedlings. After both my WLE’s I have ended up having to stay in and being quite ill after. The last one I ended up with a breast infection, bladder infection and gastroenteritis.

My question is, I am having this done on the Friday would I be well enough to travel to the Hampton Court Flower show the following Tuesday. I have no idea due to being ill last time whats normal for after a WLE if it goes ok etc.

Thanks Guys.

Hi,I think each persons recovery time is different so don’t really know the answer to that. But my own experience was I had central mx and node clearance on a Wednesday was back at home (with drain) on the Friday had drain out on the Monday and then on the Tuesday was at my sons rugby match.
But as I said we are all different so I don’t think anyone can really say.Hope it all goes well and you are able to go.I am hoping to go to Hampton Court as well I to love pottering about in my garden I’m growing my own veg,and with the nice weather we’ve had everything has gone mad lol.

I think you’ve got a good chance of going if there are no complications. For my first WLE with SNB I had the op in the morning and was walking the dogs by late afternoon. The second one with a full node clearance was a much longer recovery.

Hope you get to go and have a lovely day.

hi everyone , hope this day has been positive for you all , well i go in tomorrow morning for my wle and snb , i asked the bcn tuesday if she thought i would be ok to go to family christening saturday , she has strongly advised against it , what in everyone`s experience is the likliehood of me not being able to go ?

should mention that the christening is 50 miles away xx

Hi,
It depends where your WLE is, but with the location of mine, I would not have been comfortable wearing a seatbelt for 50 miles, especially when you consider the possibilities of sudden braking. In terms of energy levels I would have been fine.

Hope everything goes well for you.

hiya ladies . well all went well apart from reaction to pain killers they gave me, that saw me having to stay in till effects wore off, fine this morning thank god , a little sore but manageable with pain relief and loose clothing , even managed to sleep on that side last night ! my other half is driving and removal site is near top of breast so not attected bu seat belt, will see how i feel in couple hours i think before make decision xxxx
