thanks for the reply from , fluffy w clouds re my question about CT scan. Dr phoned me today to explain some anomolies , so Im feeling a little reassured. Scan showed one indeterminate small nodle in plura. He said it was most probably from a previous infection. Rescan 3 months. Modern scanners are apparently very good and pick up every little thing
DX 2010 wle IDC 1.6 ER+ full axillary clearance. Rads - on anastrozole.
DX 2012 new primary in other side IDC 1.5 3/19 nodes - so again full clearance. This time HER2 + as well as ER+. Proposal herceptin /chemo /rads
I do not have a spleen so immune system impaired .
My questions
Anyone out their had successful chemo with no spleen.?
If this thing in my lung is cooking up cancer can a regeim ( can’t spell) of chemo and herceptin see it off?
I know who has a chrystal ball but we all learn from others experience that’s the great thing about sites like this.
