I have had a mastectomy and total node clearance in my right arm … almost finished chemo and no rads required. I go to the gym every other day … just do a 5k walk at the moment… but what other exercises can I do that wont bring on lymphoedema (not swimming!). I know I am only supposed to lift 5k.
Also, I plan to go to Australia at the end of the year (alone), my luggage is wheeled but it still has to be taken off the carousel or put into the luggage rack in the cabin… is it just a case of asking for help? And how will my arm be with the heat ??
All advice gratefully received!! xxx

Thanks everyone … worried about laying on the node clearance side … nobody told me that … and always do! Will continue with my 5K walk and ask advice for other exercises I am allowed to do. I was very active before this.
