After a double mastectomy , I intend to go flat from now on , so am wondering if there is a charity that would like to have my prosthesis . I have a couple that I experimented with . Plus does anyone take ordinary bras that are in good condition ? Someone said they had heard of somewhere in Africa , but knew no more .
Would be interested to hear from anyone who had any ideas , as it seems a shame to bin them .

Hi Jill. Have you checked at your oncology unit? Mine has a box in the reception where you can donate bras. I think they go to 3rd world countries. I’m not sure about the prosthesis though which is a shame as they are very expensive and it’s too bad if they can’t be recycled somehow.
