Had oncologist appt today and good news both CT and Bone scans are clear. Does this mean I will not get secondaries ?
Chemo to start 17th Sep.
As triple negative the oncologist also talked about the platinum drug treatment as a back up if chemo does not work. What is the platinum treatment?

Whitfield, I think no oncologist can tell you whether you will or not get secondaries even if your scans are clear. What it does mean is that at the moment there is no evidence of disease which is good and positive. You will be getting treatment to prevent anything raising its ugly head. I had lymphnode involvement but like you no evidence of disease following scans. Try to concentrate on the treatment you will be getting and the benefit of all the new therapies which are available now. Good luck.A
