Hi all
Has anyone else been told that the cancer has spread to their good breast? I have cancer in the lung pleura and was put on Arimedex. I noticed that my good breast was painful and swollen and hot. I thought it was a side effect of the hormone but I was told by my doctor today that it looks very abnormal.

I haven’t had it confirmed but I’m pretty sure there’s something going on in my ‘good’ boob. I know I have a dodgy node on my good side so I’m assuming that my concerns are justified. I’ve mentioned this to my onc + surgeon but they’re both more concerned about my organs…
Is there any plan to investigate further?

Yes, just diagnosed two nodes in my good breast now. I am on Arimidex for the last 5 weeks, not had it before. The left breast nodes are receptive to the Arimidex so that is a plus point. I don’t feel anything in that breast except irritation where they carried out a core biopsy on the nodes.
I was diagnosed with cancer in left breast in 2002, secondaries in 2010 and then in right breast and lymph nodes in right armpit in 2011.
